- Clean the cue butt thoroughly with a damp cloth and let it dry completely.
- Sand lightly along the butt where the wrap will go to ensure a smooth surface.
- Use a small amount of cue wrap adhesive on the butt where the linen will go.
- Spread evenly but avoid excess to prevent bubbles.
- Begin at the front end of the butt and wrap the linen tightly around the butt.
- After wrapping, press the linen firmly with a linen press while applying water to smooth and flatten the linen. Repeat and let dry. Then apply a starch to give it a better grip.
